We definitely watch too much CSI at our house. As I've said before, our little cat, Ming, likes to bring lizards in the house. Sometimes we catch them when they are still alive. Sometimes we don't find them until they are, well, not so alive. Sometimes we only find parts of them (usually tails).
Today I asked Scott to come get the lizard tail that was under the desk. (And he didn't even look askance when I asked him to do it.) He picked it up (with a tissue) and said, "Whoa." I said, "What?" He replied, (and this is how I know we watch too much CSI):
"Rigor has already set in."

Ha ha ha. Love CSI. But only the Las Vegas version.
LOL!
BTW- This is where you could have added a picture of the tail in riggor!
You're right, Leslie, I should have! I just don't think that way! Plus, Scott would have thought I'd lost my mind if I'd asked him to stand there for a minute while I got the camera!
Hil.
arious!
LOL!! That is hilarious! Could Scott estimate a time of death without the liver temp, seeing as now there was no liver?
I love CSI and all its lingo! We use it extensively over here - since we are an extremely morbid family.
And, I want a photo - pull it out of the garbage, lay it on a white piece of paper and snap away!!!
So this week's episode of CSI (Vegas ed.) takes place at a scifi convention.
Oh, yes. Guess who will find a way to watch it.
Hmmm, so maybe it's Scott who has got lil' James so hooked on CSI. Oh my goodness.... he is constantly watching it now and we have parental locks on the t.v. for the yongin's and James' loses his mind if he misses the very beginning.. so he'll be frantically calling me in the room to unlock the channel before he misses the crime scene... y'all are too funny!
that's "youngin's", it's early, hee hee!
I had a roommate once who HAD to watch the O.C. the hour before CSI: started. She insisted on watching the previews for next week, which always made me miss the crime scene. I finally pulled the, "this is my tv, you can look up the previews online bit" and changed the channel earlier.
If you miss the crime scene, you're out of the loop the entire episode!
I only watch CSI NY. I love you Carmine Giovinazzo!
CSI:NY is all I watch now too. I haven't watched CSI:Las Vegas this season. And CSI:MIami is stupid. In our house, David Caruso is "overacting man".
I like Carmine, but I love Gary Sinise!
CARMINE! I love him lots and lots. *draws sparkly hearts around him*
There is something strangely attractive about Gary Sinise. I have no idea what it is, but he is kind of hot in some odd unnameable way.
that is funny. I watched CSI Miami a couple seasons ago but now the shows are too late for me. I'm in bed by 8, such a loser!
