Unnecessary Law of the Month

Here is May's unnecessary law of the month:

In Topeka, Kansas, it's illegal to serve wine in teacups.

What I want to know is what exactly happened in Topeka, Kansas tea shops that warranted passing this law.

Bonus!! Second Unnecessary Law of the Month!

I heard this unnecessary law on the radio today, and I just had to share:

In Boise, Idaho, it is illegal to fish from the back of a camel.

The law doesn't say anything about elephants or giraffes, so I guess those would be okay.

Unnecessary Law of the Month

In Cedar City, Utah, it is illegal to drink beer with your shoelaces untied.

So be sure to double knot your laces (or wear slip ons).

Unnecessary Law of the Month

From Townhall Magazine:

"It is illegal to snore in Massachusetts unless all the windows and doors to the room you are sleeping in are locked."

That must be for the snorer's protection.  No one would be able to sneak in the room and smother him to shut him up!

Did You Know?

Did you know that in Brooklyn it is illegal to let your dog sleep in your bathtub?

I thought you should all be informed.
